Anna prides herself on being an authentic, trauma- informed therapist who greatly values the therapeutic relationship. Anna utilizes her positive energy to create an empathic and strong connection with her clients. With her approachable and flexible demeanor, Anna meets her clients where they are at and always strives to provide the most quality care and treatment possible.
As a client- centered therapist, she utilizes EMDR, strengths- based cognitive behavioral therapy, solution- focused therapy, and mindfulness as her main methods of therapy. Her specialties include working with first responders, veterans, and trauma.
Anna received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. Anna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Gottman Level 1 Training for couple’s work, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
During her free time, Anna loves to spend quality moments with her family and friends. She enjoys a variety of activities, including cooking, walking her dog, reading, catching a game at Wrigley, and attending concerts.
